CGHS empanelment of Dentist - CGHS empaneled Dental Clinic
The CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) Dental Clinic Empanelment process is for dental clinics that want to provide treatment to CGHS beneficiaries (Central Government employees, pensioners, and their dependents) and get paid by the Government.
Here’s a clear breakdown of its benefits:
1. Wide Range of Medical Services
OPD (Outpatient Department) Care: Consultation with doctors, dental care, and minor procedures.
Specialist Care: Access to specialist consultations in government or empanelled private hospitals/clinics.
Hospitalization: Cashless treatment in empanelled hospitals.
Diagnostic Tests: Free or discounted lab tests, X-rays, scans, etc., at CGHS facilities or approved centers.
2. Cashless Treatment
CGHS beneficiaries can avail cashless services in empanelled hospitals and clinics for covered treatments.
The bill is settled directly between the hospital and CGHS.
3. Dental Care
Covered under CGHS-approved rate list for procedures like fillings, scaling, extractions, dentures, crowns, root canal treatments, etc., in empanelled dental clinics.
4. Medicine Supply
Free medicines from CGHS Wellness Centres.
In some cases, reimbursement for medicines purchased from outside pharmacies (with valid prescription).
5. Nationwide Network
Access to CGHS Wellness Centres and empanelled hospitals/clinics across major cities in India.
Beneficiaries can avail treatment in any CGHS city regardless of where their CGHS card is issued.
6. Family Coverage
Coverage extends to dependent family members (spouse, children up to 25 years if dependent, dependent parents, etc.).
7. Pensioner Benefits
Pensioners can continue to avail CGHS facilities after retirement by paying the required contribution (annual or lifetime).
8. Special Schemes
